Statutory Standards under Florida Statutes § 561.57 and § 569.45 • PACT Act Notice

1. Alcoholic Beverages (Fla. Stat. § 561.57)

Miss Knight's Grocery delivers alcoholic beverages (beer and wine) in strict compliance with Florida Statutes § 561.57:

  • Age Minimum 21: No alcoholic beverages will be sold or delivered to any person under the age of 21. All delivery riders are vetted and must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Mandatory Physical Verification at Door: The recipient must physically present a valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID (driver's license, state ID, or passport) to the delivery rider.
  • Recipient Signature: The recipient must physically sign the delivery receipt acknowledging receipt of alcoholic goods.
  • Intoxication & Refusal: Delivery will be refused without exception if the recipient appears visibly intoxicated, if no qualifying adult is present, or if valid ID is withheld. Contactless delivery of alcohol is unlawful and strictly prohibited.

2. Nicotine Products (Fla. Stat. § 569.45) & PACT Act

Statutory Notice: Florida Statutes § 569.45 Delivery Sales

Florida law regulates any online or electronic order for nicotine products as a “delivery sale.” Nicotine product sales are currently operated under strict regulatory gates. When active, sales are restricted to purchasers who have completed age certification under penalty of perjury, uploaded valid government identification, received an email statutory notice, and completed a telephone confirmation after 5:00 PM prior to delivery.

Federal laws, including the Jenkins Act as amended by the Prevent All Cigarette Trafficking (PACT) Act, impose additional registration, reporting, and age-verification mandates on electronic nicotine delivery systems. Miss Knight's Grocery maintains zero tolerance for underage sales.

3. Acceptable Forms of Identification

  • Current, unexpired United States State Driver's License
  • Current, unexpired State Identification Card
  • Current, unexpired United States Armed Forces Military ID
  • Current, unexpired Official Passport

Expired IDs, school IDs, paper temporary receipts without photo, and digital screenshots are not accepted.
