Customer Terms of Service

1. Store-Owned Delivery Model

Knights Express is a hyperlocal, store-owned ordering and delivery platform operated directly by Miss Knight's Grocery LLC. When you place an order, you are purchasing groceries directly from our physical brick-and-mortar storefront in Titusville, Florida, delivered by store employees or vetted independent local delivery partners.

2. Delivery Radius & Operating Hours

Delivery is available exclusively within our defined service radius in Brevard County, Florida. Orders are accepted only during active store operating hours, subject to a daily order cutoff window before closing. Orders attempted outside operating hours will be refused at checkout.

3. Payment Authorization, Adjustments & Capture

When you place an order, an authorization hold is placed on your card for the estimated total including taxes, delivery fee, and optional driver tip. If an item is out of stock and you selected a refund preference, or if substitutions of lower price are applied, our system captures only the final adjusted total upon delivery. Any uncaptured funds on your card hold are released immediately. 100% of driver tips go directly to the assigned delivery rider.

4. Out-of-Stock Preferences

For each cart item, you may specify your fulfillment preference:

• Substitute: Our staff will substitute a comparable item of equal or lesser price. We never charge you more for a substitute.
• Refund: The item line is zeroed out and your final payment authorization is reduced accordingly.
• Call Me: Staff will attempt to contact you by phone prior to dispatching your order.

5. Mandatory Recipient Verification for Regulated Goods

Orders containing alcoholic beverages or nicotine products require the physical presence of a recipient aged 21 or older holding a valid, non-expired, government-issued photo ID. Contactless delivery or drop-offs are strictly prohibited for regulated goods under Florida law. Failure to present valid identification results in refusal and return of regulated items to the store.
